Named one of Professional Remodeler's "40 Under 40\," he's now a respected speaker and educator featured in Fine Homebuilding and Green Building Advisor. At BPC\, Ben pairs curiosity with precision to create homes that perform as beautifully as they look. Day 2 Opening Keynote: Steve McKanna Steve McKanna is a seasoned mortgage professional with over 20 years of experience. He attended the University of Washington\, where he majored in Economics and played lacrosse for 3 seasons and football for one season. Over the past 15 years\, he has brought his wealth of experience to the role of National Sales Trainer for multiple companies. In the last 36 months\, he created The Home Building Energy Efficiency Academy\, addressing the gap between energy code adoption and builders receiving due credit for constructing more energy-efficient homes. He currently serves on multiple committees within the National Association of Home Builders. Residing in Washington state with his wife of 20+ years and their five children\, Steve's commitment extends beyond his career. Actively engaged in their church and community\, he finds joy in coaching the basketball and soccer teams of his three daughters and two sons.
